Yoga Philosophy Workshop
Step beyond the mat into a space where yoga meets everyday life.
This FREE monthly community circle explores the teachings of yoga - the Eight Limbs, the Yoga Sutras, the Bhagavad Gita, and more - not as abstract theory, but as practical guidance for navigating life’s challenges here and now.
Bring what’s on your mind, what you’re struggling with, what you're working through, or just be present to listen.
Each session blends discussion, reflection, and shared experience, with occasional guided themes. Herbal tea will be available (bring a mug!), and all levels of experience are welcome.
Date: June 7th, July 5th, August 2nd; 1:00pm-2:30pm
Price: $0
Pranayama Workshop
This workshop offers an accessible introduction to pranayama - the yogic practice of conscious breathing, traditionally rooted in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. While pranayama comes from yoga, its techniques and principles are widely used today in modern breathwork, nervous system regulation, and mindfulness practices.
We’ll begin by exploring your natural breathing patterns (chest, belly, or mixed) to build awareness of how you currently breathe. From there, we’ll break down the mechanics of the breath and learn techniques to support more efficient, balanced breathing.
You’ll be guided through both energizing and calming pranayama practices, with space to notice their different effects on the body and mind. We’ll close with a short, integrated breath practice followed by Savasana, allowing time to rest and absorb.
Date: June 27, 1:00pm-2:00pm
Price: $30
