About Shine Yoga
I’m Emily Fasnacht, a yoga instructor, personal trainer, and breath teacher with over 10 years of experience.
My work is centered on helping people feel more steady, capable, and at ease in their bodies through simple, consistent practice. I focus on movement that is sustainable, adaptable, and relevant to everyday life. Over time, my approach has become less about intensity and more about clarity; clear movement, clear breath, and clear attention. These are the tools that support change over time.
My Philosophy
I see movement as a way of returning to the body, not escaping it. For many people, the body becomes a place of tension, disconnection, or frustration. Practice offers a way to rebuild that relationship; not by pushing harder, but by paying attention and responding with care. The goal isn’t to achieve a particular shape or level of flexibility. It’s to develop awareness, build capacity, and create a sense of steadiness that carries into the rest of life. Breath is central to that process. It can help regulate, energize, and create space, supporting both physical and mental shifts. Over time, steady, consistent practices tend to be the most effective.
